lol. Yes, she is crazy popular in Taiwan, but JYPE won't let Twice perform there and even a Tzuyu solo there might be an issue

We are talking about an industry that turned Lisa of all people into a wildly successful solo artist. Don't overthink the glorified popularity contest and mistake it for a talent show.
Regarding Tzuyu doing a solo and people's concerns about her vocal ability.
I still think Tzuyu would be perfect to to a Taiwanese ballad.
Something in the vein of Yoona's Red Bean would be perfect.
Yoona is not the strongest of singers either, but they found a pretty ballad that fit her range and ability.
I think Tzuyu could do something special like this perfectly. It would be so beautiful.

Of cource I know talent and skills have very little to do with kpop, but that is mostly true in a kpop group where you can hide behind others that acctually can sing, like Tzuyu can do in Twice. And Lisa is on other level compared to Tzuyu. And Lisa as long as their groups are actice I would not call their songs "solos", it's just some extra stuff connected to Blackpink. The "real" solos starts when the groups are over, when they need to stand on their own legs. Not many can survive that.

Yes, Lisa is on another level compared to Tzuyu. Unfortunately for her (and everyone who has to listen to her) that level is down and not up. Down in the basement to be precise. But hey, it worked out for her anyway, so it can certainly work out for Tzuyu. And while I don't see the logic in this, if you don't consider it to be an actual solo until their group disbands, then I don't know why you even commented on the possibility of her getting a solo since Twice isn't going anywhere.
