I’m usually someone that prescribes to the Korean visual standards but Wonyoung I will never understand
She perpetually looks too young. I can’t take her visual seriously
But it's not only because she's pretty.
There's tons of pretty girls in kpop and elsewhere. Some u can say, even prettier.
But only Wonyoung behave in a way with such an unreachable aura that almost look like shes not even a common human.
You can say whatever you want about her, but the reason Wonyoung can do the most mundane thing and still become THE talk of the moment is because she is the only one who is able to pull off the confidence and charm that gets people amazed and create all sorts of reactions, be it negative or positive.
Wonyoung is pretty much the only 4th gen idol that have passionate haters as much as passionate followers. Literally theres an entire movement on tiktok and youtube called wonyoungism that have her as role model for a successful life.
Every other famous person who met her mentioned how she is very smart and professional.
So you can be relieved that you dont get it because her looks are only a small portion of why she's huge (though the halo effect definitely might help her).
