What are you thoughts on Persona: Sulli?

  • Watched it today but I couldn’t finish it….There’s just such a feeling of hopelessness that we couldn’t have done something to prevent what happened to her.

The entire thing is so fucking sad…it made me genuinely angry that this pure and beautiful soul had to endure so much.

They literally broke her down into a shell of herself. She was so broken throughout the entire interview. Like she was just done with life.

I don’t think they had any mental health or crisis professionals on set because there were moments where the interview should have been intervened when it was overwhelming her.

It’s sad that she was really making herself so vulnerable to show her side of the story. Sadly she died before filming even ended but I’m glad she was able to say her piece.

I’m still so sad about her passing, truly such a loss in this industry that could have been prevented. I’m sorry we failed you Sulli.

  • It's kind of standard to say "it could have been prevented", but the truth is that near to impossible that prevent all suicides. Sure, it can be sign people are not feeling okay sometimes, but not always. And sometimes is just so much that can be done the help people feeling better.

  • Well I watched the Persona episode last night and that was hard itself to get through.

I'm gonna try and watch "Dear Jinri" sometime this week but I'm not looking forward to it. I may not make it all the way through.
