    ENHYPEN has been confirmed to perform at ‘Music Core’ on November 18

    With the recent MOU between MBC and HYBE, artists under HYBE’s management will start appearing on MBC’s TV shows

    It’s been four years since HYBE artists appeared on ‘Music Core’


    "MBC’s officers mentioned “we wholeheartedly welcome ENHYPEN to stand on MBC’s stage during their comeback period” and “MBC and HYBE’s collaboration will not stop at music show appearances but will include variety, cultural content and more, and (we) will anticipate (this) to become a stepping stone in K-content with the collaboration of the top broadcasting channel and entertainment company”. "

    MBC and HYBE signed a MOU, agreeing to cooperate with each other for Korean music industry & broadcasting market.

    Specifically, they plan to create content production that prioritizes safety, physical & mental health of artists and improve public awareness & respect on workers in entertainment industry.

    They also decided to stop the wrong practice such as forcing appearance on program/award show using the status of the broadcaster, unilateral production schedule change, and apperance restriction without mutual discussion.

    Hybe has a lot of good artists on their rosters and MBC wants to dip into this chance.


    Most importantly, this must also be in preparation for BTS comeback and all other BTS contents such as promotions and special shows. MBC has a lot to gain from this. They don't want to miss the train.

    Imagine banning all artists from the biggest company.

    I'm suprised it even took this long for them to see it was a mistake.

    An MOU doesn’t mean much, it’s a precursor to an LOI which is before a term sheet which is before definitive agreements. Completely non-binding.

    definitely not from the label. mbc losing hybe is a big loss. hybe is too big to care about. they have other channels, other markets includes us, japan, some other south east asian markets. hybe never actually care about mbc while their artists so busy with other shows, events, ….

    Yeah but we are talking about this HYBE, not the old Big Hit which wasn't this big and already had beef with MBC.
