No debts or loans for me. university cost a thousand euros per year ( not counting living expenses) . Then I don't own anything like a house or a car and I live rent free. My only fixed expenses each month are about 40 euros which include a bus pass and mint chocolat only .

College loans

I just paid of the Australian equivalent of my student loans this year (we call it VET-FEE, used to be HECS). You repay it as an automatic deduction from your salary after your yearly wage hits a certain level.

Feels good to have it paid off, getting on average an extra $250AUD a fortnight which is nice.

Now all I have left is a $6000 credit card card, $1500 personal loan and a car on novated lease.
