Layover is the most cohesive album of the year

  • I feel compelled to give V his flowers for this album, because I honestly love it and have had it on repeat for about a week now.

I was NOT expecting V's album to be so velvety smooth and chill, and the way the songs flow together is seamless.

I walk a lot just for exercise, and one early morning it started to lightly rain, and when I started playing his album, the vibe was just incredible.

I rarely go out of my way to compliment boy group songs, let alone an entire album, but this one just hit me in a way I did not see coming

Unlock My World by fromis_9 is a close second. I think this is the best album of the year but too many people sleep on them ;(

  • I see that many non-BTS fans also like the album and I'm really happy for Tae. :holding-back-tears: The band version of the songs is truly amazing, if you haven't watched it, I recommend it.

  • It's my kpop MVP as well. Everything I drive and starts raining I put Rainy Days and the melancholy of the sound, the piano, and deep voice all does wonders. It's atmospheric to listen to it in a slightly colder, grey and wet weather

Likely my favorite BTS solo album, which is unexpected as I generally prefer rap line music (Jack in the Box was n

my favorite BTS solo album before Layover) compared to maknae line music

Taehyung said that he wanted people to have a good relaxing time in the autumn/winter months with his album's calming and soft songs. I think he achieved his goal. :holding-back-tears:

YES to all this. I'm on another early morning trek right now and all I can say is that the immaculate vibe created by his album is practically soothing my soul. I didn't even need to know V said that to feel that's exactly what he was going for with this album.

    The mission was a success

Also. Shout out to whoever gave the idea of bringing Yeontan to the stage. This is just adorable

It's probably his idea. Because he wanted to create beautiful memories with Yeontan, he used it on the cover of his album, in photo shoots, and in all of his music videos. So, I wasn't surprised at all that he took it to a music show lol

Joking aside, Tae adopted Yeontan even though he knew he had heart disease. Yeontan has had two major, unfortunately unsuccessful, surgeries. Tae said that he is just grateful to Yeontan for wanting to survive and he wants to create many good memories with him. I think it's an incredibly sweet detail that he dedicated his first solo album to his cute dog. :holding-back-tears:
