Things have become much more complicated now. The producer of UQ is saying that they will redo the episodes and conduct an in-depth investigation, covering parts that were not shown before. Obviously they will focus on the Ceo's side too, potentially putting the girls in a more difficult position. The recent Dispatch article with evidence adds to the concern. It would be helpful if the girls could provide similar evidence to support their claims, especially regarding the hospitalizations of some members like they claims due to various reasons like panic attacks. At this stage, mere words will not be sufficient to regain public support. If the information in the Dispatch article is accurate, the CEO could counter with a defamation lawsuit, given that he possesses evidence. The girls side need something substantial to convince everyone. What's unsettling is that this situation could take years to resolve and could lead to more legal complications for them.

I found a user saying this-"In addition, this incident occurred between June — July 2021. At the time, the members were still trainees. FIFTY FIFTY members agreed to an exclusive contract on March 5, 2022. If this incident had caused physical and mental shock, they shouldn’t have signed the contract."

The parents should take the blame too because how in earth they allowed their kids signing the contract if this happen to them?

  • Both companies were scamming them.

If Cupid didn't take off, they would still be working without pay for another 7 years. But Cupid took off globally, and so they started to legitimately have questions about when they would be paid. And when the company refused to let them see the accounts, they knew they were being scammed.

  • The girls are the victims. I think they are getting terrible legal advice from their parents or whoever is telling them to not settle though. Like why do this whole public case when nobody is on your side at all and really all the information c ok’ing out isn’t putting your arguement in the best light. Like the Givers were just as bad as their agency if not worse. So why trust the Givers? It’s just all dumb. A perfectly good group destroyed when they had so much potential.

we probably will never find out the "truth truth" since both sides have their own version of events and the truth probably lies somewhere in between

  • This came out on reddit, it is about whether he misappropriated funds to pay starcrew, it is not known if it is true or not, but that is where the complaint before the judge is from, that is where the program should go to verify if it is true or not but it is distracted by other things

    a user puts this

Now what's interesting is from this translation, they used the term "came to learn" which indicated that it's not just a wild accusation but they have done research/background check on it. Meaning that if they can prove this to be true then 1. Its proof that jhj has been embezzling money/stealing from the girls 2. they've lied to social media/"news" sites. And the whole "the givers made accounting errors" wouldn't really matter

I know lawyers can be sleazy but I don't think the law firm representing Fifty Fifty will accept and push through with this in the legal court if they have zero basis, Barun(their law firm) is not some random law firm down the street who are hungry for cases even if it's unwinnable.
