Based on Spotify streams, "Gold Gold Gold" is Somi's least popular b-side, but evidence suggests that it will be her next single (or at least get an MV) and feature Hyuna (who still doesn't have a label...).
The strategy seems similar to Lisa's "Money", with a silly over-the-top rap b-side bragging about their bank accounts following the single. Although Somi says the MV will flip the concept in a funny way.
As with "Money", this followup b-side is clearly targeting tiktok. Somi even leaked some of the choreo and it looks promising as a challenge. The arm movement choreo near the middle of the clip looks great.
I assume the TBL producers are trying to recreate some of Money's success, but they got a bit lucky that time with it becoming the unofficial theme song for Squid Game on tiktok during the show's peak popularity (and it was Lisa).
