They just wanted BTS to fail, period.
It was Bang's fault to not abandon kOrEa, since he didn't want to pay back the a few hundred million the kOrEan pension fund invested on Hybe and he wanted to play a mogul there.
They would have raked at least $10 billion. Their individual activities won't bring 1/10 of that, and now Jungkook is about to be smashed by Taylor Swift in November, that figure will decline further.
