TVXQ's Yunho is under suspicion of tax evasion.
A netizen revealed on an online community, "Yunho bought a building as a family corporation in 2016. It's not wrong to buy a building but when when I commented that it'd be burdensome to talk about it my account was blocked."
According to reports, Corporation A purchased a building in Pungnap-dong, Songpa-gu Seoul for 16.3 billion won. The name of the corporation's CEO was revealed to be same as Yunho's father but the corporation used a different address from Yunho's home address. It was also revealed that prior to 2016, corporation A never operated any rental properties despite being listed as real-estate company.
As a result, Yunho is under suspicion of tax evasion since he also purchased an apartment along the Han River and 3 foreign cars worth 4 billion won but only the building was purchased under the corporation he operated to avoid investigation of the source of funds. This is because homes purchased by a corporation are not taxed at 62% as part of the individual homeowner's transfer tax per Korea tax law.
In the meantime, Yunho is currently under investigation for breaking quarantine rules while visiting an illegal room salon in Gangnam with female hostesses and fled from police during crackdown.
He's also under further controversy for abandoning his pet at a training center for 12 years.
- [+3,737, -95] Why would he say publicly that he'd never be a building owner? His words are the problem. According to Dispatch, he bought the building for the family corporation 2016 but then said he wanted to run a school in the building instead in 2018? His words came back as a daggerㅋㅋ
- [+4,733, -1,128] Why does it matter whether he bought land or a plane? People's thoughts change. A celebrity's life is not a public good...so why intervene on his personal life.
- [+1,419, -47] Are we sure he bought the building? ??? I thought he said he was going to set up a music school.
- [+1,358, -46] I think it's highly likely his father bought it with the money he earned and he didn't know? Even the article says he's not building owner...if they never mentioned that, I get how this would be controversial. Looks like this reporter is creating a controversy on his own..
- [+857, -81] Stop beating up celebrities and investigate LH you dog pigs...stop pissing off the public.
- [+469, -231] Ah...I would hate to be Yunho right nowㅋㅋㅋ?
- [+201, -9] This is not about him buying a building...this is about him pretending to be straight and clean~~~
- [+162, -11] He could've bought 100 buildings and no one would care...the problem is he said "I'd never be a building owner" with his own mouth ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
- [+71, -5] It's because his words and actions are different...there are so many celebrity trash in our country that this doesn't shock me anymore..
- [+37, -5] Ah, his clean image is gone..
