This seems like a poor man's dish.
Like something people made when they couldn't afford actual ingredients but they still wanted the flavors.
How easily you could choke on that.
The things people in China will eat or make into a dish seems to know no bounds, and as someone outside of that culture, it's difficult for me to wrap my head around.
