It's annoying and embarrassing. I remember watching this tik tok about Miss World's winner and the comments flooded with kpop stans thinking their faves is much beautiful than the said winner š„²?? Or if their faves cover a song and someone else do it and it goes viral or receive really well respond then those fans will talking about how their idol do it too but better in backhanded compliments way in the comment section and ask people to check it out. Like calm down, let that nugu tiktoker/youtubers breath and receive their flowers, their comment section is not for your ads.
I have seen countless of time where non kpop fans mocking and questioning this behaviour of kpop fans. It's great you trying to promote or talking about your faves but it's not hard to know the right place to do so.
