LE SSERAFIM (르세라핌) 'Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's wife' OFFICIAL M/V

  • oh so it's probably link to their universe

because in their webtoon, the girls adventure outside the dome, when it's suppose to be forbidden

I didn’t think of that.. hmm maybe.. I’ve stopped Crimson heart awhile back so it didn’t even occur to me both might be related.. good call..

I’m still confused the part where Sakura broke the other girls’ linked hand.. what does it mean?

They want to broke the boundaries of the kpop :whatb: Kpop is actually pretty limited, and if you're an outlier in something small, it quickly becomes a big deal. Like tattoos, like marginal clothing styles. At the end of the video Sakura promises that they will not hide themselves with pinky finger. Maybe she opens closed hands because she's one to lead to members to reveal their real selves. :ideac:

Sakura (Sena) power in the webtoon is that she ccan "feel" things, she have some sort of pressentiment when things are wrong, or something is going to happen etc...

So it makes total sense that she's the one who broked the linked hand, she probably felt something was wrong that the other girl didn't notice that's why she decided to break the link

actually i don't know if i'm thinking too hard or not, but actually all the lyrics make sense after reading the webtoon

    Lyrics =

" It's okay whatever you do
    I know it's all a lie
    It's fine whatever I do
When I listen to you with an obedient face"

= I think here they are talking about how the people who reign on the city are acting all nice and act like they care about the population when actually they are behind the bad things happening in the dome and want people to do what they say like not going outside the dome or researching things who are forbidden

that's why they are talking about "listening with an obedient face" or "being a doll in the lyric"

"Things like that are not okay
I'm the only onе that sets my rules, yeah
    I'll see what's forbiddеn"

= basically the webtoon start with the girl searching for something an information but they can't find it anywhere because every "website" act like it doesn't exist and when they go out in the street to look for more info, they are attacked by demons that''s probably of what they are talking when they talk about "things not okay"

and they end up finding a message ssaying that they need to go on a island to stop the blue firefly and for this they have to go outside the dome, and that's what they decide to do, so they are finally setting their own rules to go see what's forbidden

    "Boom, boom, boom
    My heart is beating"

= The boom boom part makes also sense because they are teleported outside of the dome thanks to the crimson heart necklace and when they do they don't actually know if they need to go back in the dome or they should go to the adventure, and they decide to go see this island because thinking of adventure made their heart beat

    Don't look, wanna look
    These taboos all around me
    Like Eve on that day

= same in the webtoon they learn tons of things for example they don't know anything about magic, they think all animals are dead etc.... all these things are taboos under the dome and they shouldn't look to discover the truth

but it's not their case and want to look and do what's forbidden like eve

Even in the MV you can see that they aare often in the room with blue lightning i wonder if they didn't use this set to remind the blue firefly island

  • Damn, you guys are smart :pepe-notes:

I just like to made up theories. :angryr: I may have exaggerated a bit, but there is definitely a reference to the limitations in kpop or the limitations of society and everything that is considered taboo around them. They want to break it, feel more free. I haven't read the webtoon, but I guess it's related, according to the information Sooyoung gave.

Love is taboo and if we think about it, Love is taboo in kpop too. Maybe it could be something else too. Fantastic utopic concepts can be confusing. Maybe the concept of their next MV we will understand what is forbidden and what it means.

well usually the after title track MV is always linked to their webtoon the same thing happened with impurities

so that's why i gave an explanation of the MV based on this, which to me seems very reliable
