A quick google search tells me she was in Source already during PD48 (2018), and Winter was in SM from from 2016 I think.
I read somewhere that Source was from ex-SM staff? So maybe she didn't make the cut in SM but got recommended to Source?

There where rumours about this before too but it's too baseless for anyone to confirm. I saw some people said Yunjin was in SM for few months before drop out then move to pledis and going to pd48.
When Ningning said she know Yunjin since their trainees day then it's kinda confirmed the theory already.
