so they should focus more on doing better show than trying to push for a live action of powerpuff girls

Well there's Scooby Doo and I think the Josie and the Pussycats movie did alright

But yeah a live action version of the Powerpuff Girls would be really hard to pull off. For starters these girls look way too old.

The remake wasn't CW though? It was HBO MAX, so can't really blame them for that one.

The CW had some good shows. I remember watching the Vampire Diaries, Arrow, The Flash, The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow. Those were my favourites!

Also, literally no one asked for or wanted a live action PPG. Especially if they were going to make them grown ass women.

Dove Cameron looks great in her Bubbles costume (she's the only one since the other two look like they are in cheap PPG cosplay), but she does not make me think Bubbles. She makes me think sexy Bubbles TikTok cosplay.

Like, I'm so happy this was torpedo'd. The costumes look cheap, and I did not want to see the PPGs with terrible CGI, working 9 to 5s, having sex, and with dating issues. Why would I want that? I'm already living the stress of an adult life. Why would I want my childhood cartoons and memories turned into that?!

What is with trying to reboot and adultify everything from our 90s childhood? We don't want it!! We didn't ask for it. Just like that terrible Velma series. Apparently, the PPG cartoon is getting a 3rd reboot, which I am all for. The PPGs work best just fighting crime in 2D Townsville.

No more live action adaptations, no more remakes period. Just enjoy the orginal works that already exist and come up with new ideas if you want to make something

HBO Max and the CW are owned by the same parent company (Warner), but I don't think the CW team had any involvement in producing it.

And, I wouldn't know. I didn't watch the original or the reboot.

I wonder what some of the other characters would have looked like.

Maybe they would have made Mojo Jojo look edgier?
