do you believe naturally thin people?

  • i am someone with a thin frame and i can say that i don't starve myself. i eat enough. but the thing is, what's enough for me is not enough for anyone else at all. (i think i have a small stomach?) like even if thin people say that they eat a lot, their "a lot" is not equivalent to others "a lot" imo. so i don't think there's naturally thin people who eat a lot but don't gain weight, just people with less appetite and people that get full by less food.

this is why i laugh when people say "my unnie doesn't starve! she's eats A LOT!" lol no, no she doesn't (even if she doesn't starve herself). gaining weight works by a very simple principle. eating more calories than you burn = weight gain. simple. the unnie in question is probably used to getting full by eating less food.

  • I am naturally thin also but I gain weight easy (recently, I used to NEVER gain weight) and idc. I dont care about my weight Im gonna die from diabetes anyway either way it goes. How do I know that? All of my family has had diabetes by genetics, so its safe to assume I have a risk of getting it. So the concern of health problems doesnt bother me that much. Its just whatever for me

  • Your point it very valid but some people naturally have higher metabolisms compared to other family members, despite doing the same sport and eating the same food. And yes i do think most of the time they may not eat a lot or eat multiple meals but in smaller portions. of course habits play a part. But i know people and my family who 1000000% are naturally thin even being pregnant didn't make them gain weight at most one size. It is crazy

But of course lifestyle plays a role, there are vegans who wouldn't be considered thin depsite their healthy lifestyle. Metabolism is crazy

tbh i just don't think there's a huge difference between healthy people's metabolisms. i observed other thin people and even though they claim to love food, i realized that even with their favorite foods they eat less than others

  • I am very thin as well. I have hard time to gain weight although I don't lose weight fast as well. My weight is just stable.

Usually I don't eat more than I need. Sometimes people may think I eat a lot because I can finish 1 or two whole pizzas. However, I skip breakfast and don't snack much.

yeahh same i eat 1 big meal (like a whole pizza) and i usually don't eat any other meal, maybe like a small sandwich or soup. bc my stomach can't handle it lol. and i don't ever eat snacks bc i don't crave them

i love how thin people are being exposed :pepe-peek:
