I remember it was beating Boys Planet at the beginning, having better ratings and getting more buzz. Then somehow it plummeted while Boys Planet rose. And it had such a good cast as well, how do they always fuck up these things? This is The Unit all over again, I am so mad, we probably won't get the female version and if we do, it is gonna flop anyways, so who cares.
So what happened with Peak Time???

I enjoyed The Unit, but ultimately never had any interest whatsoever on the final groups. It was a great show to watch older nugu idols slaying on stage and... that's about it
Mnet shows are just better at selling their trainees. They are young and 90% of time haven't yet debut. They generally have a journey that make you know more about them
Another thing: Having a mix of talented and untalented idols put together is the BEST way to uplift the talented idols. It was much easier to pay attention on Hui, Jay, Taerae and Seongeon simply because they are 4, unlike some shows with a overwhelming pool of talented idols thar came across almost impossible to pick one and attach yourself to him
Last, Produce series are just too enjoyable. I watched Under Nineteen and remember Jay and Wumuti there, and they got close to no attention. Now Jay has thousands of fans rooting for him simply because Boys Planet was a better show with much better performances and opportunities for him to showcase his talents

I saw a lot of people complaining about Peak Time's formatting and calling it boring,
