Almost all new hip-hop fans that have heard On The Street have nothing but positive things to say about Hobi and now he's a stan attractor for hip-hop fans yet again! (CNS met his sister)

And finally, hip-hop fans can understand better than anyone else when we as fans say Hobi's cadence and flow are literally one of the best in the game, if not THE best. J-Hope can switch it up to like five flows in one verse while also switching up his cadence in each line. He's really a versatile rapper that actual hip-hop fans can recognize and appreciate.

Bonus: J-Hope is a massive fanboy of J.Cole and the reason he wanted to be a musician in the first place. He even named his first mixtape after "Cole World" "Hope World" so it's no surprise that he gave himself only eight bars while he gave J.Cole, his idol, thirty-two bars.

Changed the title of the thread from “[BTS CONTENT] This J.Cole fan went from not knowing J-Hope to saying J.Hope went easy and let J.Cole have it in just three songs down the BTS rabbit hole lol” to “[BTS CONTENT] This J.Cole fan went from not knowing J-Hope to saying J-Hope went easy and let J.Cole have it in just three songs down the BTS rabbit hole lol”.
  • I watched his reactions too.. it’s really entertaining and educational too! This reactor is less informative but very hyper and fun

(I realised I love watching new reactions because it takes me back when I discover BTS. The awe and wonderment was wow. The feeling of falling down the rabbit hole was one of a kind. I guess I’m trying to recapture that magic?)

  • Jhope is the least talented rapper in BTS, so spare me the propaganda :pepe-cringe:

Wow imagine being this bothered by a fan thread, you all cannot let Armys appreciate their faves in peace without turning up with your stinky ass opinions no one asked for.

    “fan thread” lmao

Post it in your guild then. But don’t get bothered when other ppl, who aren’t licking between BTS toes comments.

This forum is legit for shitty opinions, trust me, yours isn’t that great either.

Also atleast my opinion actually comes from someone who listens to more korean rap in a week, than you probably do in a year. Same for the guy whose videos are in OP.

Edited 3 times, last by Kouss ().

  • Yet J.Cole, a bona fide rapper, the OG hip hop artist, collab with J.hope and gave him a thoughtful, beautiful prose to complement On the Street. He rarely collab just for the sake of popularity.

So you think that by listening to more Korean rappers than others here makes your opinion more valid compared to people who listen to more western rap and hip hop? That’s kinda weird take. Unless you are jealous that your Korean rappers are not getting the attention that J-hope is getting. Then I can totally understand.

    :pepe-toilet:

  • I forgot that those who stan SM groups think they know more about vocals than actual singers...I even recall one who claimed to know more about rnb than everyone, now we have you a rap god. What are you, a failed rapper perhaps cause the vitriol for BTS members that you display is not normal by any measure.

This is my critique ever time a BTS stan get upset by a mild comment.

If you you think, calling J-hope, the 3rd best rapper in BTS, counts a vitriol, then you are either a 2 year old or never been on twitter. There are 3 rappers in BTS and unless you’re delusional to think everyone in this world is the same skill (which is idiotic) then someone has to be 3rd.

Next time, try not to be so butt hurt, because someone shared their opinion (that is definitely more knowledge than you on rap), that’s no where close to vitriol or half the things J-hope gets called on twitter lol.

And why are you even on a kpop forum, if your response to anyone talking about music, is gonna be “can you rap? can you sing?”….. Again, you sound childish. If that’s the bar for making comments about music, this forums would be empty.

"least talented rapper", "someone has to be 3rd".....when you are a fan of an entire group and each member brings something unique and essential to the table, you wouldn't have this mentality but hey maybe your faves aren't like that. With BTS, Army don't say shit like this because we have a full group of super stars in their own right. So don't spread your hateful labeling of BTS members under the guise of "having an opinion".

This translates to you being delusional full stop. Atleast you can admit it. I never said Jhope doesn’t bring other things lmao. He just obviously brings the least, when it comes to rap talent.

I swear you guys like to twist words and argue strawmans all day.

But again, it was a mild comment, that you guys are overreacting to like i said Jhope was a trash human being who should be kicked from the group. These responses is exactly what is wrong with this fandom lol.

  • Omg. The way a certain user is acting here. :clown: J-hope has 10 years worth of experience in the industry. At the beginning of their career, the difference are noticeable but as the time passes by, those lines started to blur.

  • You talking out of your ass about your rap expertise is not going to make me give your shit opinion any credence, just cause you said so.

OP made a harmless thread not even comparing Hobi to any one else but you need to come in here and diss him and accuse her of propaganda? Do you even read the trash you spew venomously? She is not forcing anyone to open a thread on j-hope, so how is she spreading a propaganda, unless it irks you so much to see anyone getting into BTs music or appreciating them, which clearly seems to be the case.

  • I saw these reaction videos and it was so nice to hear their initial thoughts and how they grew to appreciate Hobi’s work. There were similar video when RM’s songs dropped from Indigo too. I saw an Erika B fan react to RM and it was similar positivity.

@paradis I think you hit the nail on the head. Haters really can’t stand it when BTS members receive genuine praise by hip hop and rap artists and fans. The fact BTS’s talent and respect to this community is acknowledged — it really gets under their skin to the point that they have to spew negativity instead of ignoring an appreciation thread.

It is important achievement for BTS to be able to do this and hey, more fans and ARMY! We keep growing! Two comments I saw on Twitter from hip hop fans :)
