I’d love for Lisa to have collabs in the future, especially as many artists have expressed their interest.
But a solo is a solo, it’s meant to highlight that person alone. It would be unfair to Lisa and her fans if she has to share the spotlight, especially as she can easily pull it off with her insane stage presence, dancing skills, rapping and singing. A collab can wait, this should be all about Lisa, just like Jennie and Rosé’s solos were.
If it's coming along soon it must mean they are confident they found a great project for her. I hope Blinks don't kick off if it's a collab. I'd rather have that in May/June than have them shelve it because Blinks are throwing tantrums and then wait ages for them to put something else together.
Maybe a YG rapper came up with a great track and they want Lisa on it, maybe YG is unsure about how much support Lisa has in Korea so they want to be cautious - or maybe it's all rumour and she will be solo. But it will be her first musical project outside of Blackpink and that should be exciting enough in itself.
These Western artists name dropping Lisa are just clout chasers to me. Except for Kehlani.
I wish for:
1) a solid hit-making producer not named Teddy (he can co-produce though), and
2) a world-class choreographer for the MV like Paris Goebel (but she may be too expensive now), or even let Cheshir Ha work with her. Actually Kiel Tutin is a really amazing dancer, but he gives GG's soft choreos. If it's Kiel, then please give her some polyswagg choreo.

Will be really disappointed if they give her soft choreo. You can clearly tell she is restricted with BP's choreos. They need to go all out.
If she's only getting one song, then I expect her to be doing it by herself. Since she debuted in 2016, she's only ever sang/rapped by herself ONCE. She's got the talent and confidence so I hope YG doesn't undermine her by lumping her with some other artist.
Collabs/sub-units should only happen after all the solos have been done and dusted.
