Do You Think NEWJEANS Is Helping Keep Up HYBE Stock & Reputation?

  • Y'all can give your opinions below.

But just wanted to ask these 5 questions -

    • Is NewJeans boosting HYBE reputation as a company?
    • Is NewJeans keeping HYBE stock up, apart from BTS?
    • Will NewJeans be the "BlackPink" of HYBE?
    • The bigger NewJeans get every comeback, will HYBE also grow even more?
    • Even with everything going on surrounding HYBE right now, will HYBE continue to be the dominant Kpop company?

  • Yep.

HYBE bottled BTS's legacy by chasing after a useless award like the Grammys by releasing sub-par (to say the least) tracks in "Dynamite" and "Butter". And now they're, more or less, gone.

Well those 3 songs, Dynamite, Butter, and Permission To Dance boosted BTS to legendary status on a global level.

Like yeah the songs was mid to most people, but BTS being nominated for the Grammys three years in a row, and breaking SO MANY RECORDS THAT OTHER KPOP GROUPS AND AMERICAN ARTISTS CAN DREAM OF???...yeah I think those 3 songs deserve their due lol.

    Okay, sure....

After those songs, especially after the one-two punch of the first two, a lot of people lost interest in them after the initial novelty phase. Those songs weren't good enough to sustain interest in them.

Well even now they still gaining new fans on their hiatus, so I wouldn't say their gone.

Heck even on Twitter, I see ARMY breaking more records, and finding ways to stream and buy to keep BTS on Top and have them continue dominating... and ARMY has been successful so far from what I see.

ARMY don't even need BTS to tell them anything, cuz they operate on their own.

  • Yah sure. Even as a tokki, i will be waiting for the day BTS is called NJ's older brothers not the other way around.

IDK whose alt you are but you are definitely not a tokki seeing the way you're trying to set them up.

I agree with you but whenever I see the word tokki I think of the Dutch meaning

Tokkie= a term used as a pejorative for a (usually low-educated) person with predominantly negative qualities and antisocial behavior.

  • No. Before them groups had to build a career for years and now because of them, the group that actually built that career is being dragged along with their payola and faux popularity.

Barely 6 months but already more privileged than groups who actually took years to cultivate a fandom for themselves? And their fans swear up and down that this is 100% of their own merit when none of these songs are viral anywhere.

  • can you try not being a fucking moron on this site for at least a week

  • Look, idc about payola and whatever they did to get to where they are.

I can name numerous other groups and companies who did the same thing.

Im just asking on whether they keeping HYBE reputation at the Top and boosting their stocks, by how successful they are right now and how great their results are looking..that's it lol

  • NJ makes the company look good in that it proves that they can create successful groups ( in South Korea) and not just parasite off of BTS. NJ is not anywhere close to or ever will get close to replacing the money that BTS brings in. Lol, Agust D tour proves this. HYBE needs more money so they better send out their main money makers to bring in more. Expect to see more from the BTS members soon.

It is not just one group, but the combination of many groups, which are suddenly getting more and more popular, and of course the BTS solos and later subunits.

  • newjeans success and other groups like TXT, seventeen, Les serafim, not to mention BTS solos must make the shareholders feel confident in Hybe.

Which is great for BTS since many of them own some shares and now are able to explore what they want to do. BTS is still the face of Hybe, even very recently many media reported the SM fiasco using the words “BTS label” and not Hybe.
