To be clear, I'm not that against using clickbait-y titles. But if someone was doing it then make it entertaining and not full of unworthy gibberish crap. And sometimes I get confused when I read some news here cause there's no clear source here or the content is just confusing, so I had to make my own research whether it's true or not.
I think having a bit of rules is fine if it can level up the experience here and so we can have a more effective discussion. Don't even get me started on a thread full of very off-topic unrelated comments.
It is annoying and actually demotivates me to discuss or post here because ah yes, another bait and troll thread….

People don’t care to know the correct news they just want to argue and debate over non issues. It’s always been a part of being in a fandom or talking about gossip and entertainment news.
I don’t like it particularly but I also don’t find it that weird because entertainment is not that deep. And I don’t think it needs to be that authentic. If you really want to know the truth yeah go do your own research. Many people simply don’t care. Engaging and talking in the forum is more important than the news of itself.
Is it only me or do you also find it annoying when users here make clickbait-y titles or when they make a thread as if it's official or facts?
For example, instead of saying (UNCONFIRMED) or (UNOFFICIAL) or (RUMOURED). They would present it as facts instead- relaying false info. And if you are gonna make a clickbait title atleast make a worthy-to-read content and not full of B.S.

For me, I do get what you mean.
I write original content post, or get to know the artist type's of post with an unbiased view written in a positive light.
These articles don't get approved to post as much as the rumour's or dating rumour based ones for sure, for that I can totally see what you mean

i know what you meant but not everyone is capable of being entertaining so i think that's a bit too much of an ask. you'll probably end up being disappointed most of the time if you don't lower your expectations to match the reality over here
