BTS are truly kind people and they are really incredible to take the 'gracious' route but I think even more so: it's just who they are. They didn't become the people that looked down on them; they stayed true to who they are and have always been - kind and positive. It's also a good example setting for the industry.

Fandom beefs are usually due to small percentage of the worst stans. There are plenty of people who were/ are fans of both or were neutral and did nothing to anyone. And no matter what fans were doing, the idols themselves are blameless. Would you want people to hold it against BTS for any terrible army interactions? I think people put too much emotion into these things tbh.
I love BTS for that and I’m with them. But I can totally understand why some ARMYs are still hurt especially the ones that went thru that era.

He got hate for following Taeyang? I didn't go into the thread but i saw a title that he followed then unfollowed. Was it coz of the blowback? (Wait, i thought it was TOP).
I really don't understand fans that get so invested though honestly. I think we need to remember that, while we love or faves and work hard to support them, we aren't them or even close to them. It doesn't seem healthy to hold these kinds of feelings years later when even the idol has moved on (and sometimes it never bothered them in the first place).

this is valid. not only bts, people forget army is also people. when they say let bygones be bygones, it's just a way to say that your empath toward the members is invalid. i was really mad when peachysoda was still a thing (and if you also do you deserve veteran discount), and probably will never see the situation as mere fanwar. like, goodness, jungkook was minor. tae and jimin were barely adult. it was online bully, clear cut.
but i also recognize bts are adult working men who knows how to conduct themselves in social setting and i respect that.

However, I know that these are my personal feelings because of my own experience of events and I can't project those feelings onto whatever relationship idols might have with one another because I don't know them and I don't know their relationship. I'm just trying to keep that in mind throughout all of this.
