guys, what are you going to eat this holiday season & what specific holiday do you celebrate??

Since I am vegetarian'/vegan. I usually just have a salad as it's summer here. I sadly don't have any family to have a proper christmas lunch/dinner with anyway as my parents are gone.

Tamales are so good, omg. I like to get them for breakfast.

I celebrate Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Years. Christmas Eve is an extended family thing with mostly finger foods. I just called my mom to ask what to bring and found out that other people are already bringing: lil smokies, pretzel bites with cheese dip, sliders, mini meatballs, brownies, peppermint bark, pinwheels, and... I feel like I'm forgetting something, but you get the idea.

Christmas is cinnamon rolls for breakfast and usually a hearty soup for lunch.

New Years is at a friend's place this year, and they said it's potluck style, so I expect more finger food kind of deal. I'm bringing a new hard cider I found.

What type of salad do you like? I'm pretty basic and get a lot of caesar salads, but there's something refreshing about the simplicity.

If I'm ever in Australia in December, I will come eat salads with you.

and we celebrate Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & New Years Eve. altho for us the party/action is really on the night of the 24th, staying up late watching movies & eating so much food. and this time imma watch the New Years Eve special bcs J-Hope is gonna perform

Christmas Eve is normally the big day for me too, but I got invited to a friend's NYE party this year, so I'm excited to do something different for a change. Normally I don't bother with celebrating NYE just because staying up so late just to what the clock change hands isn't worth dragging all day the next day.

I hope the performance is super cool! I know J-Hope's a great performer, but you never know with how drunk the camera operators seem to be sometimes. Sometimes it's like... all the action is over there, wtf are you zoomed in on!
