She isn't though, BTS lead in the female demo all across in below 40s and in both male and female teens, when you actually break up the data. It is why BTS topped below 40 demo.

In all age groups above 13-18 IU is ahead this year. BTS topped below 40 demo because of their lead in the 13-19 age group is enough to offset her lead in 19+, not because BTS had a bigger share of females going for them.

The results per age bracket, regardless of gender:

13-18: 38.1% BTS vs 24.8% IU <- this is what makes BTS #1 overrall

19-29: 29.1% BTS vs 29.4% IU
30-39: 21.8% BTS vs 25.4% IU
40-49: 12.1% BTS vs 14.8% IU

BTS have teenagers on lock, and the only one who can compete with BTS in the age group 19-39 is IU and vice versa. I think if BTS doesnt release anything next year because of hiatus, but IU does, she can take #1. Either way it will be BTS and IU occupying first and second place next year and the year after that as well most likely
