Should Teddy sign Jinni right away, just like he signed Somi before she joined Itzy?

Assuming the reason Jinni left would allow for it, should Teddy sign her as the (maybe last) member right away?

She seems like one of the most popular members, so it could be a good idea.

Edit: The more I look into her (I didn't follow Nmixx) I see that Jinni has the potential to be an "it" girl. From Jinni's perspective it would make a lot of sense to join Teddy's new group, since Teddy is the best at getting his artists solo brand deals. Jinni would probably make way more money in TBLNGG than in Nmixx (and TBL would get their cut... paying for her termination fee would probably be worth it).

If nothing else, it would be funny considering Teddy picked up Somi right before she was going to be added to Itzy.

(Maybe Teddy already poached her and paid for the termination fee...)

I could see Jinni being a good addition. She's incredibly talented and would be a gem to have anywhere.

If Jinni is going to stay in the idol industry, that might be an interesting option to explore.

Though, being a YG group... the lack of activity will always suck ass and I wouldn't blame her for not wanting that...

if they debut in less than a year i think NMIXX fans will be hurt, no? Unless she give reasons to why she is out of JYPE, i don't see how this could be a overall positive thing. Even Somi got hate for years bc of this same issue.

Buuuut if she wants to pursue the idol career, sure, it's a great opportunity.

and also we don't know if she has some health/mental health problems

or for example decided to be actress because JYP statement clearly says to support Jinni in future on her new path

I think the controversy would be positive overall for the group's popularity.

The biggest negative is that, while pretty and talented, Jinni might not be unique enough for Teddy. Teddy seems to like idols that are unique and stand out.

I think she wants to be an actress because Jyp said it's a new path. Or she wants to try something else.

I just hope that's true. Just because I would not like if she waste 7 years of training of not being able to do anything.

If it is a choice to leave entertainment industry all together than I wish her nothing more than happiness.

I am seeing amaze amount of copium on twitter regarding Jinni's sudden departure of NMIXX.

I mean that wouldn't be the first time done by YG to recruit a JYP trainee/female idol. I remember when YG was literally saying they would steal Ryujin from JYP (jokingly?)

Somi left ITZY, too prior to debut but she was a trainee. I don't know if YG can snatch a debuted idol like Jinni away from JYPE like that.
