ryan jhun is a pos

  • starts company

tells 6 girls they will be in a group

gives his better songs to another girl group

    ignores his own group

then disbands his own group after they didnt magically pop off

seems he tried to make a quick $$ at the expense of young women, and kicked them when they didnt magically blow up

  • I hate to say it but this behavior in kpop isn't new and this won't be the last time it happens. Hopefully there family is there with lots of love and hugs. I wish I was Korean and a billionaire to scoop up abandoned talent and give them a second chance.

  • add to that that in the meantime he also was in KBS Listen Up, a tv show for music producers

he could bring Bugaboo there but he didn't, he worked with some other groups and singers instead

    Oh yeah for that

I didn't watch the show but idk how they chose the idol groups that went on there

Daehwi worked with Younite from his company so I thought they had some choice but maybe Ryan Jhun's songs didn't fit a girl group

  • At leas they disbanded them early instead of just sitting on them. They can join other agencies if they want to continue being idols.

At least it wasn't a BVNDIT situation where they did literally nothing for nearly two years then had a comeback and immediately disbanded. MNH should have let them go in 2020 when they knew they couldn't handle the losses from Covid.

Not sure about this one, I wouldn't call the songs that bad? Especially the debut song is not bad at all. Also this guy is not able to produce a hit every single time, he does have plenty of songs that made no noise at all.

If you're referring to Eleven, that was never his song to give to anyone. He's the producer but it's not his original song, the songwriter sold it to Starship and he produced it.

The last year has been brutal for new GGs and even groups that did everything right like Billie are only finding a little bit of success because the competition is just that crazy. I think it's unreasonable to blame him alone for the groups downfall.

To me it looks like the debut had pretty a solid promotion attempt and the song isn't bad either. Nothing about the debut looks 'low budget' and there's tons of promotional contents on big channels like 1theK. He probably took a massive financial loss since the group didn't gain much traction.

If it's completely financially unsustainable there's no choice but to call it quits, doing it early is better for the girls' future career than dragging it out with minimal investment releases or no releases. They are at least known now and most likely there's companies willing to pick them up.

I get that a lot of people hate this guy because he said some super cringe things in the past but blaming him alone for the downfall of the group seems unreasonable. He could literally be on the verge of bankruptcy for all we know and in that case ending their contracts and disbanding the group is the only right thing to do.
