I don't think it's completely irrelevant, music show wins have been used to say "this song was popular and got 10-20 wins" but if it's like 1 or 2 wins then that just shows they won over others for some reason(because they were bigger than all the others, or because of some scoring criteria like the broadcast score)
And first win shows that the group was above some threshold of popularity at a certain time, but I agree the first win might not mean much anymore when it's on certain shows or mostly because of broadcast score

I thought they had disbanded and gone separate ways
Idols care a lot, at least in the beginning of their careers. By the time years 4, 5, and 6 roll around, if they've already won like 50 of them, they probably wont care. I know they'll gladly not go to the shows if they dont have to, seeing as how you're forced to wake up at 2AM and spend 18 hours in the studio waiting and practicing and waiting again. Shit is so ridiculous. They should consolidate music shows by merging The Show and Show Champion into one show. Then consolidating the Big Four music shows into the Big Three. This would result in a total of 4 music shows instead of 6 per week, which would allow the groups to actually have some much needed breaks in between.
Hey what are the big 4 music shows, M Countdown, Inkigayo, Music Bank, and Music Core?
There's also Simply K-pop
And that new K-909 show (although it's not really a music show, more like a special opportunity for top groups, top soloists, and some small groups)
I agree it would make sense to remove some of them but every channel wants their own music show and there is no incentive for them to combine them. It's like a trap because people are used to the current 6-7 music shows a week already, and fans watch all of them and don't stick to just one. And in addition they are all mostly a similar show/product.
Or it's like having 6 grocery stores all in the same area, all in healthy operation. But in this case there are performers who have pressure to go to all the music shows unless they are already successful.
However, if some music shows are removed, then I'm not sure there's a more efficient way for them to use the day (ex. Tuesday), there aren't many other shows watched as much as the music shows
