They're still climbing. They're partway through a sold out dome tour in Japan, they were the 5th most popular KPop artist on Spotify this year when I think they were 9th last year.
Between Seventeen, Stray Kids and NCT it's hard to pick out who's doing better. None of them have pulled away enough yet to be viewed as second most popular after BTS yet. I don't know why you'd bring EXO into it though, they are about as relevant as Super Junior and Bigbang now.

SVT, stray kids, NCT aren’t second behind BTS. At this point they are behind BP and probably Twice. So probably more like 4th or lower. They will sink even more if another Rookie BG or GG starts rising in rest of the world. Don’t forget YG NGG, UMG/HYBE GG, HYBE BGs, SM NGG and NBG. Even LSFM and NJ might blow up to overtake them.
I find SVT too boring to care about tbh.

They aren’t popular. They have like 1 hit song and they are fandom carried
What hit did they have? Dwc, ajn?

Its unfair to compare anything to BTS lol a member could release 1 sound on a track and it would chart 1. Because army like all kpop fandoms are addicted to success stanning that your fave could literally release garbage and they will up vote it until you get a Grammy, the difference between them and other fans is much larger and far more aggressive when it comes to promotions
