Antifragile shaping up to be 4th gen biggest global hit. Surprised?

    1 month later and the song still getting 1.4M streams, first time a gen 4 group did this. The only song on Apply Music Global top 100. Already outstreamed Stray Kids’ comeback despite being out later. What made the song smash so hard globally? How can other groups also get a hit like this?

    That Ive stan is gonna seethe so hard when they see this lol. Looks like they failed to manifest their wishful thinking that Lesserafim is flopping internationally compared to Ive :wave-cry-raccoon:

    No wonder their first ever debut on Billboard 200 was at #14, which is really high.


    In the HYBE briefing, I believe they said something about

    Le sserafim coming to America to tour, and most likely do some interviews as well.


    Hopefully Min Heejin can have NewJeans be global too, and start venturing over to America.

    The reason is a combination of factors: the fun performances and the catchy song and the vigorous choreo which is helped by the members’ energy and chemistry and enthusiasm when they perform. They’re the full package

    IMO I think it's the reggaeton influence that's giving it a more global appeal. And Lesserafim deserves.

    I saw the Antifragile CD sitting on a shelf today in a Target store in a small town in Arizona. I couldn’t believe it. Their reach is already very big.

    They'll discredit it by downplaying saying Hybe stans streaming the song.

    It’s really fresh, received universal acclaim, has a lot of replay value. It honestly doesn’t sound like “a kpop song” that adheres to the trends and traditions other GG songs might.

    Its funny because I remember seeing a couple people say how for HYBE girl groups :

    NEWJEANS is gonna be the top dog in Korea &

    LE SSERAFIM is gonna be the top dog Internationally

    According to SongStats here are a few songs by 4th gen ggs spotify playlist reach peak:

    Antifragile - 54.6M (current: 29M )

    After Like - 65.4M (current: 17.1M)

    Love Dive - 56.5M (current: 12.7M)

    Attention - 73.3M (current: 15.4M)

    Hype Boy - 38M (current: 16.2M)

    Fearless - 41.8M (current: 13.2M)



    (fun fact for new jeans, despite attention getting better playlistng than Hype Boy by a lot... Hype boy ended up outdoing it on the spotify charts and in streams).


    so while it has the highest right now as its the only October release of those songs (being recently released helps with playlist reach), it can be seen it did not have the highest playlist reach out of all the songs.

    In order the songs with the highest peak playlist reach

    1. Attention - 73.3M (makes sense as it was on TTH for a bit)
    2. After Like - 65.4M
    3. Love Dive - 56.5M
    4. Antifragile - 54.6M
    5. Fearless - 41.8M
    6. Hype Boy - 38M


    and in order of songs with current highest playist reach (keep in mind being a recent release helps -easily seen in this list):

    Antifragile - 29M (release: Oct 17)

    After Like - 17.1M (release: Aug 22)

    Hype Boy - 16.2M (release: Aug 1)

    Attention - 15.4M (release: Aug 1)

    Fearless - 13.2M (release: May 2)

    I'd say the only stand out song in terms of playlisting is Attention thanks to playlisting on TTH however, they prove their streams aren't carried by playlist purely from the fact that Hype Boy ended up outdoing Attention despite it not being the playlisted song.


    Anyway - basically they all have similar playlisting so this point of yours is void.

    that's a setup, antifragile still is nowhere as big as ld or al and i say this as someone whos helping to stream the song on spotify.


    its very telling to me how quick everyone is acknowledging a big4 gg as the global leader when ive outdid everyone 3x and yall are still trying to find the global queens somewhere else.
