IKON is screwed if Bobby leaves

    IKON is basically known as Bobby, BI and friends. BI left so now it's Bobby and friends.


    YG denied Bobby is leaving though so phewww.

    Or come to think of it, YG doing mediaplay for people to check out IKON? Probably not though.

    as much credit as we give Bobby, its clear at this point that B.I was the main guy..maybe not as "popular" as Bobby at the time, but definitely face of the group, especially musically.


    cuz after B.I left, their music that they barely release anyway has been bad.


    i checked them out through Kingdom and i thought that was their redemption, but i guess not......


    also Bobby smtm days i feel are kinda over wit.

    yeah he'll still have that respect that he won etc etc, but nobody cares about him nomore like a couple years ago. especially since he had that marriage announcement and baby last year...probably turned a lot of fans, mostly Korean, off tbh.


    he had a album last year too or in 2020, but either way, it didnt make noise either. so i cant say if he was to leave Ikon he'll have a great solo career, like how B.I is having right now.

    But i also know if he stay in Ikon/in YG his career still not gonna go anywhere......idk man...


    but IKON glory days are long gone..sadly.

    It was over long time ago. I am not sure why you guys think they are still some S tier or even A tier group

    B.I is having an amazing and successful SOLO career on his own.


    He got his own music label, signed with a U.S label, became a executive director and in charge of the music sector at his parent company his label is under, has did collabs with Soulja Boy-Destiny Rogers-Tyla Yaweh, and I believe he plans on putting out his own group with trainees too under his company.


    Also he got his first successful song as a solo artist, that went viral in Korea and among international kpop stans too, with "BTBT". Even now as I speak, people still listening to it and vibing.


    So he's pretty much in his bossed up era and living that CHAIRMAN/CEO lifestyle thriving.


    He's moved on, and he don't need to relive anything pertaining to Ikon or YG, or just whatever..I'll speak for him and go ahead to say....He's GOOD.

    YG didn't deny that he was leaving, they just said he has more time on his contract yet.

    (And what will they do with that time? Y'all guessed it, nothing!)


    The only reason for him to stay is that iKon is over if he leaves and everyone knows that. He never comfortably fit the idol profile, and now with a wife and kid even less so. At this point it would be better for him to leave and join a more rap based company. Or maybe partner up with B.I again? I hope he doesn't throw away what's remaining of his peak career years to mid it out with iKon. They will be bumping along the bottom for the rest of their career. He has the ability to do more.

    B.I has learned English now, not fluent yet, but he's conversational... heck I think even a little more than Bobby now, which is surprising.


    He been doing alot of American Interviews


    And he's performed for the Grammy Museum too.


    B.I just been living that life.


    He said *baby I dipped out for 2 years, now I'm officially back and about to take every opportunity I can as a solo artist and business man* lol.


    I love that for him, especially after all the hate he got.


    I feel bad for Ikon though since he was the glue, but I mean hey🤷🏾‍♀️.
