Honestly, as long as he is serving under a good officer and has decent soldiers around him, he should be fine. I've never served but i have worked 80 hour work weeks for months at a time, it was never the work that got to me, it was the relationships with your coworkers.

I cant imagine the military would send him to a unit that is known for having super abusive bullying officers or culture.

While I’m sad, I’m confident Jin will be ok. He is mentally and physically strong. Even though he is an introvert, he can make friends easily so I feel like the military would be an interesting experience for him. I only pray that he will be among good people with no ill intent.
