Apparently I give too less about politics

    I saw a new post on the main page of AKP about some guy from Korea meeting the apparently "first lady" from Germany. I'm German and thought the "first lady" was just a random thing from America where you name the wife of the curent president, but not in any other country. And I have no fucking clue who the hell Elke Budenbender even is.


    I bet almost nobody in Germany would even know who the heck she is. And thats probably even true, because most of us don't even know more than like 3 politicians by name. Some people don't even know who our curent chancelor is...

    That's probably for the best tbh. The first lady (at least in America), isn't a political figure on her own per say, as much as she is a propaganda tool. They're like side-lined celebrities who spend their time at "charity" events, talking about how amazing their husbands are while trying to "empower" young girls despite their misogynistic position.


    Except for Elanor Roosevelt. She was a queen.
