So looking at the screenshots it seems like this was a small discord group voting for 5 different pre-determined groups using bots.

It feels ridiculous to single out DIVEs like this, labelling an entire fandom based on the actions of a tiny discord group that weren't even entirely focused on voting on IVE but 5 different groups. Not that discord screenshots are even reliable proof of anything, they are extremely easy to fabricate in any way you wish.

Obviously whoever did this did a huge disfavour to IVE by tarnishing their reputation and for what? There's nothing preventing someone from using bots to vote for your faves to make them look bad. The voting was done in an incredibly obvious way with these exact 5 groups gaining the same 100k votes per day (while BTS was gaining 70k). It's so bad it almost seems like a setup, there's no way you would seriously expect to not get caught doing this.

You kinda get the general vibe from the discord screenshots that these people are mostly in it to troll and not actual fans. The main topic of discussion is among them seems to be the angry reactions of other fandoms and even going as far as ridiculing the fandoms of the 5 groups they are voting for, eg. "they are so clueless thinking this is real voting"

As a DIVE who voted legitimately each day this basically invalidates everything I did

yikes brave girls going from 65 hourly votes to 9 THOUSAND votes per hour I can’t 😭 bp’s ceiling was 3k+ hourly and twice got above 4k per hour only once but they really expected people not to notice brave girls would double and triple the 2 biggest ggs’ votes without trouble 😭

Yeah I'm absolutely not implying they are fabricated, there is even video capture of the actual bot voting process. Just wanted to make a general reminder that anyone can edit text in discord quite easily since it's plain HTML and fabricate whatever they want. Always makes me uneasy when people accept a discord screenshot as evidence just because of how trivial it would be to fabricate.
