whether people have heard about what he's been doing or not, regardless the man has been BUSY with his solo schedules, doing this and that. but my specific question is about his solo schedules pertaining to his "fashion gigs" or "brand gigs" whatever you call it lol.

im just confused how..like he's only 3 years into his "career" and is the only one in his group getting calls from brands.

my question is how though????

like i've seen people say he doesnt fit the korean beauty standards, it's not like he's the tallest in 4th gen in regards to being a model, again he's only 3 years into being a idol, and dont nobody bring up HYBE either, cuz from what i hear from ARMYS and MOAS, even ENGENES is that HYBE is trash when it comes to solo promotions, only thing they slightly okay in is accepting the offers, and even then they still could do better, so it aint them making it happen for him.

regardless every time i turn around he got a new solo schedule doing something, him being a ambassador for BURBERRY, and him doing sponsors for CONVERSE shoes, etc...etc...i mean dang.

BTW this man literally got this many followers, when he JUST made his account some months ago ..so i could see brands/magazines reaching out to him cuz he got clout on social media...but still lls

Hybe most likely has connections with Burberry and they're distributing activities to their favourite idols. If you're fimilar with Hybe, u must be aware that there's atleast one member out of their every group who promotes and attends Burberry events.

hybe has always pushed yj, even when txt were at their peak, but now that txt is underperforming and getting overshadowed by other 4th gen groups, hybe has decided to lose the subtle push & go all out for their golden boy (and no mods, this isn't bashing, just the truth)

At the same time even if Hybe pushed him in the beginning there is a clear interest for him:

He voiced it not once that he had interest in fashion. He was in NYFS, he is good at modelling. Maybe he is not the typical Korean beauty but there is something in him that makes the brands interested. Charisma maybe.
