In most countries, male artists dominate the charts compared to female artists. However, top 10 Melon for a while has > 7 female idol songs at the same time. Lsrfm/Gidle just released their song and both are already in top 3. A new it girl seems to appear everyday. Why do Koreans love to support female idols?

How is that surprising for the biggest girl group? I think most people were expecting them to chart #1 and stay there for a while since they are so called "national gg, biggest gg". Their fans even claim they are bigger than bts so...

Army never claim BTS “has Korean GP” likes Blinks did. BTS went to music show to see ARMY, they even rented out Jangchung Arena for 4000 ARMYs while recording for Music Bank. YTC also is a ”hiatus” song and it even I play it less because it just too sad to listen. It wasn’t aimed to smash records, if they really wanted too, BTS would choose Run BTS as the tt.
But Shut Down and Pink Venom obviously were aiming for the charts. It has all the repetitive ear worms and the most expensive MV ever. Also, why didn’t BP do music shows to see Blinks? They don’t need to promote, but why don’t they take the chance to meet their fans?

Don't push it. Dynamite and Butter debuted number 1 on melon and stayed there for a long time without a promo in SK. Not even a lick of music shows that no one cares about. And if you're talking about those music shows that is for FANS, then BTS didn't promote Proof in Korea or literally anywhere else. Mind you, no one watches music shows in Korea except for a few kpop fans.

Women are secure enough to Stan both GG and BG. Men are too insecure to stan BG. So that’s 100% of GP support for GG and only 50% of GP for BG. These are gross generalizations but still relevant. There are always exceptions but for the most part most men will never stan a BG.

The BGs just dont have consistently good music to sustain interest. I used to casual listen to most 2nd gen BG and believe me, their music were miles better than the current ones who are only focusing on dance and performance.
B2st, BIGBANG, 2pm, SHINEE all had much better music and they deliver consistently
