I just read his participation in KAMP LA was ancelled, and so were other artists' who also have visa issues. I feel bad for bot the artists and fans who were going there.

I wonder if it's genuine visa issues or their companies realizing last minute what a shit show it is and pulling them out. It's honestly giving Fyre Festival

Depends whether or not their employer filed a petition with immigration services for their visas. If they never took that step and no one said anything until the last minute, there's the shit show in question.

It's not solely up to the Organisers though.

Companies will need to confirm attendance then provide proof so the Organisers can make an application in timely fashion.

Then it's up to Immigration to process the information and permit the Visa.

However, it is the Organisers fault for advertising names that would perform with full knowledge that some didn't have Visas

You need a visa to temporarily enter the country. The performer/their company and the domestic event organizer for whom they're performing need to work together to file all the necessary information with immigration services so the visas can be issued on time. For whatever reason, many of the performers had no visas issued to them and didn't realize this until the last minute, and therefore couldn't fly to the US. Everyone is assuming the concert organizer (Kamp) was disorganized and it's their fault.

If it was companies pulling out the organizers would have put them on blast.

There is no way there are financially recovering from this.
