CJ,E&M just sucks in general with their Japanese people I guess [Did I rant about Mnet, maybe]

There are curently a lot rumors on going if there might be something going on with Lapone Entertainment's trainee group LAPONE BOYS since the dudes are in Korea for I think 5 months by now and announced some days ago they would stop posting on Twitter and TikTok to focus on some training.

People are curious and rumor what this might be and some think this could mean that they would debut in the next few months. But there are also some other rumors going on.

Basicly one rumor going on besides a possible debut is, that people don't really think the group would just have 4 member and that Lapone was maybe hiding more unrevealed trainees but than again people think this wouldn't be it cause Lapone should've announced more trainees if they allready revealed 4, who are btw all participants from Produce 101 Japan.

Another rumor that more people seem to belive is that the boys stop posting on social media and are still in Korea because Mnet most likly releases the male version of Girlsplanet soon and therefore people think that Lapone's trainees might be possible candidates for the show. But many people seem to be worried about that since they think this would be exceptional if the boys should just apear on the show for more exposure but not if they would loose them to a finished boygroup from the show. And on the other hand people really think that Mnet could make them look bad with shitty editing.

And here is the point that makes it really dumb to me. CJ,E&M owns Mnet, we all know that and CJ,E&M also owns Lapone Entertainment so if they would edit their own boys, the trainees of Lapone Entertainment to look shady and ugly this would shoot themself in the foot since the 4 trainees are their own people, but on the other hand if they would edit the boys to look better this would also shoot Mnet in the foot cause people hate it when you favourise participants of a show and nobody likes it either that Mnet could even make the boys look better just cause they are their own people.

I hope from the rummors that the first one is the true one and that the boys are just still in Korea to prepair for a debut, cause I can't stand to think of that they would apear on another survival show

Whatever it is that makes the boys stay in Korea for so long, I hope it's not another stupid survival show 😒

What's funny is, that I am a big fan of Lapone's groups INI and JO1 and really suport that they have more trainees and hate Mnet deeply on the other hand hahah The Japanese. TV channel who aired Produce Japan even seems to not really like Mnet either since back in 2019 the entire production team was so pissed as they got acused for being shady too wich they are not. And at the moment the only thing some people dislike about the existence of CJ,E&M's Japanese branche is that people dislike how apparently it was "favourism" for INI and JO1 to win on the MAMA-awards in the cathegories for Japan/Asia. It would really give a bad light to Lapone if Mnet would really put LAPONE BOYS into the next survival show
