Lapone ENTERTAINMENT

  • LAPONE ENTERTAINMENT ( LAPONE エンタテインメン) is a Japanese company that was originaly created for the winner group of the Japanese survival show Produce 101 Japan.


    The company was found on May 29th, 2019 and is a joint between the Japanese company Yoshimoto Kogyo and the Korean company CJ,E&M. At the time of the creation of the company CJ,E&M invested around 10.5 million$ and Yoshimoto Koygo around 4.6 million$ wich makes CE,J&M the biggest shareholder with 7:3 of the company.

    At first the company was just created to take the winner of the first season of Produce 101 Japan under contract who are JO1. Later on they also took the winner of the second season called INI. Lapone also used to have trainees who were participants of the second season of Produce 101 Japan who spend their training in South Korea. The trainees plus some more member added later on debuted as 3rd boygroup under Lapone as DXTEEN. Lapone also has a contract to the South Korean boygroup ZEROBASONE for their Japanese promotions.


    Besides the male groups Lapone also debuted a female group called ME:I as winner of the 3rd season of Produce 101 Japan, who are their 4th group and first female act in 2024. Lapone than did also open up about new female trainees (debut date not known yet).



    Lapone is also open for outside auditions of male and female who want to become trainees under the company.


    The name LAPONE stands for "Love And Peace Only One", wich should represent CJ,E&M in Japan.
