If I was a trainee, I would choose Hybe out of all companies now.

    - Good music

    - Good choreography

    - Members having creative freedom (encouraging song-writing and producing while still not let it burden them)

    - Good numbers of comebacks per year (Not too many or too few, just nice balance)

    - Good promotion tactics

    - Creative and well-thought concepts

    - Guaranteed instant success


    Remember when people shaded them how they only got BTS? Now they have proven they can produce multiple successful groups (boys and girls) on top of having the one and only BTS -> No.1 Kpop company atm for sure.

    i dont want my future to depend on a single group or be under the shadiest company at the moment.

    If I were a talented trainee I wouldn't. The way they keep churning out groups every 6 months and dropping trainees/idols the moment they have a controversy, the possibility of me having a bright future would be uncertain. But I would choose HYBE anyday over a lot of non-big 3 companies.

    Everything except good music. TXT and Lesserafim holding down the fort especially TXT with their emo rock, the other three acts ain't it musically.

    YG has good work-life balance. SM and JYP don't have that but at least they won't remove me if I was their IT boy/girl.

    The SM and YG stans been have loudly crying all over the forum and blaming nonstop about SM and YG's lack of music and promos. They can throw a fit but I didn't lie :pepe-tea:

    As a girl I'd still be skeptical to choose Hybe. Their historic isn't solid enough for ggs. But out of shitty music, cringe promo and no comeback at all Hybe is the least worse ig.

    what a laugh, they still see it from the perspective of a fan. When you are a trainee there are more important things to consider, because being an idol is after all a job. You have to ask yourself what your work hours are, how much the pay is, what development opportunities it offers me. Hybe is not the best.

    Funny because as far as i know sm groups stan always trash sm daily or at least certainly much more than hybe stans do

    Isn't it the same with the way hybe stans seethe over sm? Now correct me if i'm wrong but whenever i see threads on twitter about sm finance, their profit, operations, etc even with the news of LSM dating journalist it's hybe stans filling up the replies. I remember very distinctly many threads here regarding that topics are made by hybe stans. You're free to dig up as many those threads and correct me if i'm wrong. Mind you, both sides obsessing over each other is stupid.

    there definitely are hybe stans who have beef with sm, but you have to see the bigger picture here. hybe is still a very very new brand and no matter how loud some hybe stans might seem, they simply cannot compare with the fervour and worship-like pride that sm stans have for the sm brand which has existed for literally decades and produced countless successful artists and amassed enormous fandoms for both those groups and the sm brand itself. hybe stans just do not possess the same strong feelings for hybe that sm stans have for sm, and for sm stans when they stan a company with such a rich and decorated history it hits their pride much harder to see their company which was undisputedly number 1 for a long time now struggle to compete on a one to one scale with other groups and to see people now flock to a different company and proclaim them as number 1 with better music and idols. that used to be sm’s schtick so it gotta sting for sm stans. some hybe stans might hype up hybe groups but they’re no where near as zealous about the hybe brand as sm stans about sm and cannot out-bitter sm stans over their competition, trust me on this lol
