i get this one! when i first moved into my current house, there was so much to sort through, and because school started up right after, i never got a chance to clean out before this past summer. when i tell you i got rid of SO MUCH. including school stuff, clothes, make up, and art supplies (i was a bit of an art-lover pre covid, but lost that motivation along with a lot of other things
). everything felt so much more open. i was able to get a lot of new and finally get my room aesthetic to look like one of those pinterest rooms, and im so happy with it. i hope everything turns out just as nicely for you!Oh I hope one day my room can be as organized and neat as those pinterest bedroom aesthetics I've seen.
It's just that living in an asian household where everything seems valuable to keep and the guilt of throwing something out that's still usable even though I don't use it anymore. Although I do feel less bad when I donate the things I don't use or don't need.
And LOL I'm getting back into art/drawings but now I'm only keeping things that still look nice and the ones I like using. I managed to donate all my school pens/pencils that I find that I won't use for my art stuff.

but girl trust me, if you haven't used it in the past 3 years and it wasn't given to you by someone close, important, or dead- get rid of it
