Why don’t other idols hype up Ive and their songs like with NewJeans?

Even though Ive has hit songs, you don’t see other idols dancing to After Like/Love Dive as much as Hype Boy/Attention. Even songs like Next Level, Tomboy got covered more. This thread shows all sorts of idols/actors/krappers mentioning NewJeans and saying they like Minji, while you don’t hear many actors/krappers/other idols saying they’re a fan of Wonyoung. Ive is objectively the biggest group in 4th gen, with the biggest it girl and biggest hits, why aren’t other people in the industry hyping them up more?

Why is everything a issue for kpop stans?

Tons of groups and K celebs mention IVE and their songs, even BTS' official twitter account was quoting Gaeul's viral line from After Like.

ive are definitely one of those young groups the older idols are complaining about

they don't see newjeans as competition since they are new but I noticed people hype up IVE in debut era but when they have 3 national hit idols now they don't like them

I feel like they are threatened by IVE and also Newjeans are looked at as "indie" and different to many Koreans.

Maybe that's why non-kpop idols/actors like them but IVE are more pop perfection and Korean celebs don't publicly show they like idols since it's seen as cringe.

Just look when Kpop groups perform actors just have a blank annoyed look.

They are arrogant so who needs there validation.

Also k-hiphop artists are the same with the arrogance.

the choreo is really fun and SK loves the KHH/KRnB flavour

Unlike nj, there is nobody making a long ass thread about IVE achievements. There are only occasional activity news and content updates, chart thing or sales only comes when they had a comeback. But no one frequently keep up about their other achievements. Even I only know today that Gaeul's line in after like is quite famous there.

Love dive actually got covered by other idols too but since they are not from big 4 groups you will discredit them.

And the one who hyping them up mostly are gp

i noticed this too tbh rv members use to like ive until they outsold them now they hype up newjeans

maybe is because irene have isssues with attitude
