So while you're right that both sides have engaged in their fair amount of hate and should both be called out when they do, there's a difference in the level of magnitude in how heinous they are. That's all.

This is the wildest thing I've ever read when jikookers right now are calling jimin a fat liar because he said he got the moon tattoo (on his back) inspiration when taehyung showed him a picture of a fanart of jimin. Just because it doesn't line up with their most popular theory of jikook being the sun and moon couple and they got it together to prove their reletionship ijbol, indirectly calling jimin a liar and saying he is protecting their reletionship.
