For aespa it’s but SM groups have always been inconsistent!!! But last year it was why Itzy Is declining. Aespa can’t top next level buy you will see people saying Itzy peaked at debut. The excuses here are quite funny. Now they’re bragging about sales but it used to be an irrelevant metric.

4th gen groups are having trouble staying relevant for more than a year.

I think next year will be very interesting to see who between aespa, Ive and new jeans will have digital success.

As for twice they’re not really in competition any more in digital or physicals and that’s ok. Their strength is in their concerts. And yes indeed standards will be different for older and younger GGs because GGs have their biggest hits during their starting years.

SNSD being able to chart now is for example more impressive than all the digital hits we’ve had this year lol.
