Have Karina/Winter become irrelevant?

Wonyoung/Yujin is pushed everywhere on TV and the public is loving it. Chaeryeong is working her charm on variety shows. New girls like Minji/Hanni already dominating Korean searches after a month in. While there is no hype for Karina/Winter recently, even SNSD girls made more noise. Do they need to do something quick to stay relevant?

After 2 years, they already became too old for koreans. This country is not normal for this.

don't worry Karina is currently trending on pann because people are praising her visual on the movie premiere talking about how she look as an actress with lighter makeup

you don't have to worry for aespa they'll always be relevant to the public eyes

1. You can't compare Yujin, Wonyoung, Chaeryoung with Karina and Winter. Karina and Winter got zero push to the public until now and even when we look at the bigger picture, aespa as a whole got little push to the gp. The complete opposite of the first three.

2. NewJeans is new and very hyped group and their songs are hits with gp currently. Plus they just debut in August, more recent than aespa's latest comeback in July. It's natural that the NewJeans girls are being talked more.

3. The fact that aespa only promote for 2 weeks on 4 only music shows doesn't help in creating prolonged talk. On top of that, everytime they finished their short-lived promotion it's like they're going MIA with zero (or at least almost zero contents).

when did chaeryeong get a push to the public? that one show she went on where lee youngji hosts? or that random dance performance she did with her sister like 2 years ago? jyp wasn't pushing chaeryeong, she just got lucky and went viral on her own

Chaeryoung is much less pushed compared to Yujin and Wonyoung, but she's still a bit more pushed if you compared her to Karina and Winter. The first variety show that Karina and Winter got was that manager show which actually is more about aespa as a whole than Karina and Winter themselves.

And i wasn't talking about mediaplay, i was talking about the companies actually getting them jobs/gigs individually that could actually introduced them to the public and made the public KNOWS who they are and their personality.

This is not true at all.

Music Show: They only attended 4 music shows in two weeks and after that they didn't go elsewhere.

Variety Shows: Now correct me if i miss any, i'm trying to count how many variety shows they've done is 2 years. Weekly Idol, The Manager, Arcade Pang, Snacked, that heechul drinking show, Knowing Brother, Seulgi zip, Changmin Freehug, hello82 (3 contents), Buzzfeed (2 contents), 1thek (2 contents), what else? I don't remember. For a group nearing 2 years old, especially one that that basically doesn't have their own regular contents, the amount of variety shows (and i use this loosely since half of the shows that i listed are more interview/talking type rather than variety show) doesn't reflect what you describe as A LOT.

Coachella: well there isn't that many groups that do this type of festival. The only other 4th gen group is TXT as far as i know

Festivals: 2 university festival, 1 high school festival (which is mandatory since LSM is an alumni there). This is faaar from a lot, especially since they don't attend dozens of other music festivals that many, many groups attend.

Yeah. Haerin and minji are going to replace them. Newjeans is also more successful with Korean gp with their songs

I tried to tell anon months ago that being in sm would be the biggest blocker for karina and winter because sm is absolute crap at managing female idols but anons were still fixated on "it girls always come from the big 3!!!"
