As a predebut dive, the only way I could get content before December 1 (Ive’s debut day) is to follow Wonyoung or Yujin’s schedule. At first, I was excited that Wonyoung got to be the Mc of Music Bank and that time I really did not know who Sunghoon is. The day when they were announced to be the new mcs, In every tweet and tiktok video I saw at that time,people mentioned that we should not ship them and that they were really giving what they call “ sibling vibes”
i saw a lot of engenes who likes wonyoung and that’s fine for me and all but a huge number of engenes seems to ship or always make up stuff about wonyoung and sunghoon just to show that they have a good relationship with each other. People started making fanfics of them and whenever wonyoung is on vlive i could see comments asking about sunghoon.
I might sound silly but it somehow ruined my stanning experience. some engenes thinks that wonyoung is just some kind of shipping tool for them rather seeing her as a professional idol.
Wonyoung will still continue being the mc for music bank while sunghoon ended his contract but im quite surprised that there are still people pushing their shipping agenda.
