My "theory" is that the looks depends a lot on styling when you pick your visual favorites. Because when you have girls that are above "average" in the terms looks, the styling start to get more important. If I get two different photos of a member of group I could rate her looks a lot different depending what styling I like or not. (hair style, cloth, makeup etc)

So..... who will "age better"? I would say that is impossible to say, because it depends a lot of what they do with their life and body in the future. Add some weight and remove the "kpop styling" a lot of them look a lot like ordinary girls.

I think every generation is the same. 99% of idols have average idol visuals, meaning they look better than the average person because they receive the idol treatment (ps, makeup, diet/skincare regiment, etc.) but aren't that special looks wise, and then there are the handful of idols that are genuinely stunning and stick out for their visuals.

I don't think there's ever such a thing as one gen having more beautiful idols than another gen. However, human beings tend to look on the past fonder than the present or future, so I'm sure many people will say "idols had better visuals in x generation", doesn't mean it's true tho.
