2ne1 still get mentioned way more than wonder girls

Yeah, SNSD was clearly the top girl group in 2nd gen, just like BP is the top girl group in 3rd gen. So I guess now we know RV will be the one with the 2nd spot?

2NE1 gets mentioned a lot though from what I've seen on other sites.

Why would they be mentioned that much now? 2G ended years ago and almost all of its groups with it. There reason why SNSD (and Apink) is the only 2G gg that is talked about to this day is because they’re the only ones still active. Before their recent CB they have been very active as individuals so they kept the SNSD name alive whereas almost all 2G ggs are dead or their members aren't popular enough to sustain the name.

I think its is simply recognized that they are number 2. There is just no reason to debate anything as it is settled well.

But yeah, they are not mentioned as much, probably because they are very inactive.

I also think their music aged poorly (yg curse), but that is def just my taste.

Seriously though, the only 2nd gen ggs that are still talked about today are SNSD and 2NE1

My favorite 2ne1 songs are "Fire" and "I Don't Care", I remember when I was in school I was looking for piano songsheets from them and also the other group "After School". Wonder Girl, I only just know 1 song from them, don't remember the exact title but the song was super popular back then. I didnt follow SNSD until much later but I did meet them in nyc when they were promoting at a club around 2012ish, thought that was cool.
