FWIW: I don’t think that’s the case. I think everyone tried to build their plans around when BP was coming back because that would be the dominant talk of the industry and public after such a long wait.

if it did it would make total sense by the way, it would be normal. that's what marketing teams are there for too. but it can only happen because Ive BP already build or have a strong brand.

why i feel that this is a bit more 'desperate' or a bit more 'dirty' is because NJ are just debuting and building up their name.

but on the other hand, it makes total sense that everybody's just trying to golden up their brand in august with a rush of comebacks. Like legendary names are coming back from GG to BP so it would be rather beneficial to all groups to comeback with them. Good publicity. So yeah it's normal.

but those hints i talked about are a bit suspicious for me tho idk, i could be completely wrong too.

wouldn't it make more sense to comeback after others so your release will be fresher and maybe overtake them easier on the charts. but yeah the brand name and the song quality are determinant too for that matter

oh now i got it. yeah that could be totally possible. not the marketing strategy which i think was actually well thought by MHJ but the debut date. but i'm not so sure actually. NJ coming back at the same time as GG and BP is probably the best publicity you know. I mean battling those huge names and even losing to them is I think quite a honor in this field for any rookie GG.

but as they debuted, it took some (short yeah) time for the songs to take off but it did and now it feels like a ruthless battle for the number one with every huge names coming back.

maybe NJ wasn't supposed to rise so high duh?

i mean they debut management definitly made them buzz yet it also suited they style perfectly, something new, fresh, unexpected like their title song. it's like so unconventional to debut like that but it strangely suits their concept so much.

but i get what you mean, they wouldn't have exploded that much probably but their visuals and their music most importantly still wold have push them quite high i think. so i disagree with overshadowed easily.

also the reason why neither GG or BP overshadowed them was because of their music quality otherwise it would have been an even more ruthless battle between those three.
