Would NewJeans be as popular if every member was ugly?

This is true of every Kpop Group

The Kpop Industry is as much a Visual Medium as it is an Audio one

I am gonna be honest. I don't really get the hype for newjeans visuals, so to me, their success seems to be a lot more music wise. I think people like their songs a lot and I can see why, it's fresh and new and gives nostalgia. Personally it's not really too much of my taste but I would say hypeboy is a bop but yeah.

I think much of those first week sales were pre-orders before people had even heard the Music

So those Sales were not about quality of Music in the first place

I think what you would see is many of the people who love the Music like myself would simply have just never heard of it, if the group was Ugly, they wouldn't be talked about or have any potential to go Viral and reach the large Audience they ultimately ensnared
