With talks of Pink Venom being noisy/disappointing, are you surprised Koreans are still supporting Blackpink?

I feel like kpop fans love to use Koreans as a barometer for what is good, but I don't know of any artist in history that cared about their popularity in their home country vs. being popular worldwide.
i doubt it will have a lot of longevity too but i feel like when it starts dropping down the charts is when the tt is going to be released and i hope that will be a major smash

They have the longevity game for ggs

Oh look. It's barely been a day and already I've proven to be correct. New Jeans have already taken back the #1 from Blackpink. Though I guess it's my fault for not being clear enough. Yes, Blackpink has always had longevity but you guys need to wake up and realize that that was two years ago and charts and times have changed.
The general public is over noise music. We've seen this proven already by New Jeans Ive and LSRF. When I said the song is bad and only charted this high because of Blacpink I meant it. So while I expect Pink Venom to chart high I expect it will eventually get pushed down by more easier to listen songs. When I spoke about Longevity I meant like Love Dive on the chart. Because of the quality of the song I don't see pink venom being top 5 very long. As I said. Times have changed.

Listen, I don't know what you are asking me to wait for? It's not like I am trying to curse Blackpink or anything. They very well could end up hitting it big on the charts. It doesn't really matter though. Because the point is, OP asked a question on our thoughts on the song's performance in Korea and and I gave mine. Even if the song went back to number #1 on Monday it doesn't change anything I will think because I was talking about longevity and longevity is obviously longer than the weekend. I only used New Jeans as an quick example to my reasoning about the difference in quality of song.
But bottom line is, you guys need to accept that people have different opinions and get on with your life.
